stewie can't say I've seen it or heard it before today & surprising if so, as it's only really us that have been raving about him
If there is strength to these rumours it would be very hard for the player to resist, our main hope would appear that Rice is very level headed and may want to give us a season or two to see where Pellegrini will take us

Tell you what, we find another couple of players of a similar standard to Rice, from within ideally, and in a few years we could be the ones going shopping in the big boys supermarket instead of the other way round.

We won't sell, he won't put in a transfer request and we'll be a force to be reckoned with next year as El Pel and this group of players around Rice attracts talent for the right reasons (like loyalty and camaraderie, which have nothing to do with City's cash).
